Brooke Eby
Brooke Eby is a patient advocate diagnosed with ALS in March 2022. She has been using social media to amplify her ALS journey and to advocate for progress in ALS research and care.

Robert Klein - DC, Maryland, Virginia 2023 Volunteer Impact Awardee
Robert (Bob) Klein was born in Brooklyn, New York but all his school years were spent in the DC and nearby Maryland suburbs. He joined the Navy in 1952 and served in various administrative and management positions. Upon his retirement from the Navy, he joined Booz Allen and spent the next twenty six years in management positions. After his final retirement in 2007 he became a volunteer for The ALS Association. During his tenure at the DC, MD, VA Chapter he served two terms as Treasurer, spent several days a week in the office, attending meetings, walk events, and so much more. Bob says his time at the Chapter was the most rewarding of his life, surrounded by the most talented and dedicated men and women he's ever met!
